The bar is gorgeous inside, and I'd go there again if it played music I liked (I don't expect it to, though; I'm one of about five people in SD whose favorite genre is old country).Lazy Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03659980461402672986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37241561.post-76505198354044659242008-07-31T18:40:00.000-07:002008-07-31T18:40:00.000-07:00This whole gives me the creeps. I hear the squeeky voice from the walkie talkie "Suspect is wearing..." and I know something crazy happened. Try to joke about it to make myself feel better at the moment, but now reading the info it hits home. I know alot of good people in Normal Heights and it makes me feel safe and they make me believe that most other people are like them. But then this happens and I wonder if it isn't very safe here, and I wonder could one of my friends be hurt, or myself. Sad day in NH, but hopefully there is a positive influx of people changing the tides.Dagarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17034250530345579955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37241561.post-71225502405717829632008-07-31T14:43:00.000-07:002008-07-31T14:43:00.000-07:00The owner of AC Lounge is doing just that. He's sacked the Thursday night DJ in favor of an event another DJ and I are putting together, specifically to help change the tide of the clientele.

Here's hoping we can pull it off. The AC is a cool when the music is right. That Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14399500117020414918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37241561.post-63996290749489576692008-07-30T21:31:00.000-07:002008-07-30T21:31:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Reelmandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03578458366731780322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37241561.post-86139165689038721692008-07-30T19:06:00.000-07:002008-07-30T19:06:00.000-07:00There are conflicting reports. Media reports have the AC being the focal point of the action. Either way, the AC will have to take action before they end up shut down like Kindred Spirits. Here's a start - change the music. There are never violent incidents on Big Sonic Chill night. Stop playing music that thugs like and thugs won't come to your bar. One never sees thugs in The Tower, and City Heights is far more dangerous than 30th and Adams (I know; I live four blocks from the AC).Lazy Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03659980461402672986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37241561.post-89155718573104468272008-07-30T17:11:00.000-07:002008-07-30T17:11:00.000-07:00According to the police report, the victims were l...According to the police report, the victims were leaving a party on 4600 30th St., not the AC Lounge. That Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14399500117020414918noreply@blogger.com
