Since I haven't posted at all this weekend, I thought I'd just post a couple songs that I think of when I think about vets and Memorial Day.

Are You Kidding With This?: Coronado Navy Barracks Built In The Shape of a Swastika
I know I'm deviating from music news here, but this is for anyone who doesn't regularly watch the news or read local news. There are Navy barracks at North Island that were built in the shape of a swastika.

Or to be more exact, the barracks are built in the shape of two planes flying into the swastika.

The government has authorized $600k to superficially change the buildings, with awnings or expansions or something that will change the barracks so that their view from the sky, namely google earth, isn't a swastika. The joke thing about this? The barracks have been there for FORTY YEARS. Who approved those freakin blueprints? I think it's shameful and disgusting myself and can't believe it took 40 years for someone to notice.
