Warner Brothers released the latest from Rachael Yamagata: A Record In Two Parts…Elephants and Teeth Sinking Into Heart, last week and if you haven't had the chance to check it out, I highly recommend doing so. Slightly darker and more brooding than Happenstance, the album feels like a soundtrack for gray days under a warm blanket. Hard to imagine with the recent weather in San Diego, but I look forward to lots of spins when the temperature drops a bit and I can enjoy the melancholy a bit more.
