North Park Music Thing is finally upon us! A few things about the listings...I've listed the bands in order of last band to first for each venue. The shows that are part of the festival have NPMT before the listing. This means if you have the two-day wristband ($35) or single day wristband ($20), you have access to these shows. If you want to attend just one showcase, the NPMT venues will be charging $10 which also benefits the San Diego Music Foundation. I've corrected the bands to the best of my knowledge, and you can see set times at the NPMT website (though some of the listings I know are still incorrect, including my stage at Eleven.) If you are a promoter, bar owner, or performing band and know any of these listings to be incorrect, please let me know and I will do my best to update the listings. For the record, Sunset Temple, Claire de Lune, and Lestat's are all age NPMT venues. The rest are 21+.
This weekend is also ASR downtown and the Cool as Ever tech event at the racetrack, so there's no excuse to stay home this weekend...just don't blow your wad because Adam H Stephens returns to the Casbah on Sunday and it's a show not to be missed.
