Things To Do In San Diego: October 7

It's been a crazy week, no? I tried to do listings last night and made it until 5 am but I just couldn't get them done. They're about 95% complete, but I have a meeting to get to. And by "meeting", I mean lunch at Ponce's with Kristian, Carrie, and Baby Ziggy, so I'm not gonna post the rest of the weekend until I get back but I wanted you to be able to start planning your night. I also have THREE PAIRS of tickets to CSS tonight, so tweet me if you want them and can come get them from me today.

Back from lunch and Kristian reminded me that tomorrow is the one year anniversary at URBN in North Park and they're gonna have some rare beers, hourly specials, and of course, their amazing pizzas. Jesse is working in the afternoon and Kristian will be there for the night shift, so be sure to sit in their areas and tell them I sent you. I have long been a fan of the sausage and peppers craft pie, and I like the mashed potato pie, too, but this week I tried the meatball pie and I might have a new favorite. Maybe next time I'm with a group I'll get a sausage and pepper pie and the meatballs as an app...yum.

Lastly, tomorrow The Album Leaf are performing at the Mississippi Room at the Lafayette Hotel. Considering their show at the Birch North Park Theatre sold out, I can hardly believe tickets are still available for the smaller venue, but the hotel is even throwing in a special offer. For just $79, you can get a room with a king bed or two queens and a pair of tickets to the show. There are a limited number of these packages, so book it now.
