In case you missed it, there was a partial solar eclipse and I was so grateful that Chase bought a bunch of eclipse viewing glasses from the Reuben H Fleet Science Center. I was at the post-North Park Festival of Arts gathering, but as I shared the glasses with people, the amazement and wonder was so worth any threat of eye-born yuckiness. People were trying the hole in the paper thing all wrong and then there were people stacking four pairs of sunglasses. I've never appreciated a $2 investment quite so much, and I was happy to share them with everyone on the sidewalk . There is no way that my photos demonstrate just how cool it was to see an eclipse, but here are a couple photos nonetheless. Keep in mind that this was just about 6pm and through an all black filter for proper viewing.
