A while back, I got an e-mail from a publicist from Portland whom I've befriended telling me about his friends' band that was going to tour. He was quick to point out he was not their publicist but was trying to help them out as a friend, but they hadn't been able to secure a date in San Diego. I listened to the band and after instantly digging their sound, I reached out to Dang at Bar Pink and even though it's normally Tiki Tuesday, he agreed to have the show. Brothers Young are a six piece from Portland made up of three brothers and three of their closest friends. They're touring the west coast in support of their latest EP, Good People, which is officially released today.
