COMIC-CON

From Comic-Con Organizers:
COVID-19 Policies

In an effort to create a gathering that accommodates our stakeholders safely, in addition to following current healthcare and governmental guidelines, everyone attending Comic-Con will be required to wear an approved face covering regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings should completely cover the nose and mouth, fit snugly against the sides of the face, and not have any gaps. For more information and requirements on acceptable face coverings, please click here.

In addition to wearing an approved face covering, you will be required to provide verification of full COVID-19 vaccination status or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours. SDCC reserves the right to modify requirements or limits for attending or participating in activities.

Harbor Drive Closure
To improve on safety, security, and convenience, the San Diego Convention Center, the City of San Diego and the Port of San Diego will close Harbor Drive to vehicle traffic between First Avenue and Park Boulevard. This will include traffic from cars, bikes, scooters, and motorcycles, with the exception of shuttle buses and emergency vehicles. This includes rideshares!

In addition to vehicle restrictions during the event, only badged members (attendees of Comic-Con 2018) will have access to the front drive, stairs, and surrounding sidewalks of the San Diego Convention Center. So if you are planning to meet your friend in front of Hall C, make sure they have a badge or badge confirmation!

And, although we love San Diego’s adoption of dockless share bikes and electric scooters, there will be no bicycle, scooter, hoverboard, unicycle or TARDIS parking anywhere within the Convention Center’s secure perimeter.

Prohibited Items
Alcohol or alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside the San Diego Convention Center or at any of our official offsite events. Bag checks may be performed at various entry locations. Wanding and metal detectors may be used at some locations as well. Make sure to leave your drones, helium balloons, helium-filled products, fireworks, handcarts, trolleys, rolling luggage, and pets (excluding service animals) at home. Absolutely no functioning props or weapons are allowed. Only active on-duty police officers may carry firearms within the Convention Center. All other persons are strictly prohibited regardless of license or status.
