Instead, use your phone or tablet and download the San Diego County Emergency app. You'll get evacuation updates, school closures and more, plus you can create a disaster plan for your family: where to meet if separated, where to take pets, places to stay, etc. Once you've downloaded the Emergency App, do yourself a favor and download SD311 (non emergency city service info and reporting) and 511 San Diego (real time traffic and transit info)
