A few weeks ago, San Diego was proudly named the number one beer city in America by Men's Journal, and now our city is on a mission to prove it. Supposedly my contributor Jonathan was gonna give y'all the lowdown on San Diego Beer Week, but until he does that, I thought I'd let ya know that this is San Diego's 1st Beer Week, and apparently they were already hitting the hops when they sprung the idea because their "week" is from November 6 through 15. There are a ton of amazing events, pairings, and tastings and some might cost more scratch than others, so to get all the info, check out the official Beer Week site here. I wonder if Blind Lady has wi-fi so I can "work" while testing out the Ballast Point porter cask today at 2pm...
Just make sure you have a safe ride, because some of those craft beers will kick your ass. Might be a good weekend to get familiar with Taxi Rob and put his number into your phone.
