The Weekend in San Diego

I posted all the listings for the weekend in San Diego, and it's a loaded weekend. Consider it something like a kickoff to outdoor festivities, which includes street fairs, concerts in the park, and our outdoor venues rolling out their summer concerts pretty much now through late September and even October. For nocturnal people like me, you might wanna get out and about during the day...with Record Store Day on Saturday, and Earth Fair, and a couple good daytime shows at Soda Bar and Queen Bee's on Sunday, it should be a fun-filled weekend. Looking ahead, the Adams Avenue Roots Fest, Artwalk, Beerfest and The North Park Festival of Arts are all in the pipeline...all enjoyable and free events.

That said, I came across an e-mail for a free event at Lux Art Institute that I thought I'd share.
