Things To Do In San Diego: Friday, October 9-Sunday, October 11, 2015

Darren is constantly teasing me because at Christmas last year, he bought me a camera I wanted, not knowing that I'd get two others that same Christmas to add to my stash of cameras. But honestly, there is nothing I find more therapeutic than taking photos, so while I might not be the best photographer--it's been almost 20 years since my last legit photo class--I take a lot of photos every single day, and I try to alternate between cameras, practicing on my DSLR when I can, but relying on my point and shoot for shows and quick social media posts. With that in mind, we got to escape from work for a little while to catch Coleman Hell at Quartyard and did some shopping and running around until Nova came home, where we found the time to get to Mission Dam for some communing with nature before I had to sling merch at the Observatory. Ficus loves it there, and though we're probably asking for a scolding from the ranger, it was totally worth it to hang out for a little bit before the scorcher of a weekend is upon us. I'm looking forward to some beach time and some pool time today before working at Gardens & Villa and our SoundDiego party, and then I'll be studying set times for CRSSD so I can start to plan the rest of the weekend, too.
