Friday: So Much To Do

So I mentioned earlier this week how Friday has SO. MANY. GOOD. SHOWS. It bums me out that they couldn't have been spread out a bit more but clearly lots of bands are looking forward to Memorial Day weekend in San Diego.

I still haven't worked out exactly how I'm going to manage the media opening of Elephant Odyssey at the zoo, Manchester Orchestra et. al. at House of Blues, and The Dears, Great Northern, and Eulogies at Casbah, but I'm hoping for a timing miracle. I posted about the amazing Silent Comedy, Or, The Whale, and River City Show at Beauty Bar. Another worth mentioning is The Virgins, Lissy Trullie and Anya Marina at Belly Up.

The other day I stumbled over this online show created by Josh Schwartz (The O.C.) and of course he tied live music into the episodes. There are 20 episodes and with each episode there are a couple band performances. Since the performances aren't embedable, I decided to post this whole episode, featuring Anya Marina performing (with Brian Karscig). For more episodes, click here.
