And this, my friends, is how a festival is done. I was talking to a friend over the weekend who lamented that San Diego doesn't have it's own festival. He's not a native so I kinda gave him the full back story and ultimate downfall of Street Scene and how our city makes throwing a festival, even a small one, nearly impossible, which is why we're heavily dependent on our radio stations putting together solid lineups and there are upwards of two dozen street fairs, but not a true festival to be found. FYF (originally Fuck Yeah Fest) had it's share of growing pains but it has grown in community support and my, my, my, look at this amazing lineup they're offering this year.
