Canes was packed to the hilt. It's a great venue, but not when there are so many people there that one can't get a good spot if one has to go to the bathroom, then come back.

The Soft Pack were energetic. It's the first time I'd seen them since their appearance on Fox Rox years ago.

Franz Ferdinand was solid and professional. They weren't super-animated, but they brought it with consistency.

My account may not be completely accurate, though. I only got to watch the show with one eye because the other was on wingman duty. A cute young computer girl tried to pick up on me, and when I told her I was married, she employed me as a scout. I think she found a hookup.
