Things To Do In San Diego: October 8-10, 2013

I'm so looking forward to the next few weeks. For one, Nova is on Fall Break for two weeks, which we kicked off with an epic bike ride along the Bayshore Bikeway from National City to Chula Vista, stopping along the way at climbable trees, playgrounds, and having dinner at the Galley which had a tasty all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner before finishing the ride under the crescent moon. I almost never stay at Darren's, but we promised Nova a slumber party, so I stayed the night so we could get up early and take a day trip to Julian and hopefully can get some apple-picking in during Julian Apple Days. Then tonight I'm going to see my other boyfriend, Conor Oberst, at the Belly Up. We've got the San Diego Music Awards on Wednesday, Joe Pug on Thursday, and a weekend full of good stuff, too.
