Recommended Shows In San Diego September 16-22, 2013

With all the shows this past weekend (SDMT), the upcoming week promises to be one filled with many viable music choices in San Diego. A closer look reveals some worth attending.

Synth pop band Body Language headlines the Casbah on Tuesday...Jason Isbell plays the Belly Up...Seattle's Rose Windows bring their psychedelic rock to Soda Bar...

Denton, TX is home to folk rock band Midlake...they will be releasing their next album in Nov....catch them at the intimate Soda Bar on Wednesday...highly recommended...

On Thursday live music returns to Hard Rock's 207 bar with Magic Wands and Carousel headlining...Okapi Sun opens...

The weekend kicks off in style with The So So Glos and the wonderfully named Diarrhea Planet taking over Soda Bar...do not miss this show...'nuf said...

The Vaccines make their San Diego debut on Saturday at the Casbah...read a preview here...Deap Vally will be heating things up at Soda Bar...

Austin's The Octopus Project bring their unique sound to Soda Bar on Sunday...Catch Lee Fields and his soul/funk at the Casbah...
