Canes Bar & Grill caught on fire on Friday night. According to a San Diego Fire Department tweet, "Canes Bar & Grill destroyed by grease fire in exhaust flue and extended into ceiling and through roof. 600 patrons evacuated. No injuries." According to others, the first two bands had performed before the fire started and the club was evacuated before Eek-A-Mouse was set to take the stage.
As I mentioned in the listings, the shows for this week have yet to be cancelled/relocated, so I left them in for now, though most media outlets are reporting that the damage left the club with extensive damages that will require major reconstruction.
