Ticket Giveaway: Jessica Lea Mayfield

If you had the pleasure of seeing Jessica Lea Mayfield open for Lucero at the Casbah last year, you know that the young (under 21) singer is incredibly talented in the vein of Lucinda Williams with a slightly punk edge.

Jessica’s song “Kiss Me Again” was featured in an episode of Gossip Girl and “Bible Days” was included on CSI:NY. She also recorded a cover of Buddy Holly’s “Words of Love” for the Starbucks Valentine’s Day compilation Sweetheart, and her song “For Today” was featured on Starbucks’ Have You Heard?: Winter 09 compilation. She has toured extensively opening dates for The Black Keys, The Avett Brothers, and Ray LaMontagne, and just wrapped up a successful tour at Bonnaroo Music Festival.
