Things To Do In San Diego: May 7-8, 2012

Holy shit, what an insane weekend. As I've tried to tell you, I try to give myself Monday's off from blogging, emailing, and such, but there were just a couple things I wanted to post before Rocky Votolato performs at the Casbah tonight. I'll try to get a big wrapup of the Craft Brewers Conference and World Beer Cup winners, but you can see them all here, with plenty of San Diego area winners to be proud of.  The Casbah is packed with amazing shows this week so I'd highly suggest checking out some shows this week. I'll also tell you that while there are plenty of tickets for all of them so you can save yourself some service charges by just paying at the door, for next week there are very few tickets left for Off! (only 12 left) and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (only 8 left), and you can count on The Jezabels and Flight to Mars being sold out by next week, so grab those tickets if you wanna see either of those shows. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has been so helpful and supportive in getting me boxes, giving me rides, and just offering support as I go through this move. While moving really sucks, I can't wait to never have to deal with this landlord ever again, and I look forward to living even closer to all of the great action in North Park and City Heights. If anyone needs furniture, dishes, pots/pans, or other housewares, please let me know. I have a lot of stuff that I will just be setting out for dumpster divers, but friends get first dibs if you want anything. Monday-Tuesday archives are after the jump.
