while i don't know a whole lot about biden, so far i don't think i'm down with the dude.. He voted for the war(although lated said it was a mistake) According to the transcription at the link below from 2004, biden wanted a Kerry to choose McCain as his VP in a joint-ticket campaign. so he's pretty down with the dude.. obama/mccainsupporter vs mccain/TBA.

There were a lot of people who thought Kerry should put McCain on the ticket in 2004. The thinking was whatever it takes to beat the incumbent. Sadly, the McCain of 2000 and 2004 is not the McCain of 2008 but that still seems it would've been better than the president we have now. I shudder at thought of 4 more years with this party at the helm.
