I'm watching community access television- the City Council proceedings from February 5- the day the council rejected the appeal to stop Kensington Terrace. Before watching this, I was on the fence about the project. Mostly, I was just pissed that as a resident within 90 feet of the proposed project, that I never received notification about any of the proceedings. However, after watching the developers lie through their teeth; creating false renderings that make the street (Adams Avenue) appear twice as wide as is it- I firmly stand against this project. I'm not against developers- I'm against greedy, lying scumbags who want to exploit the neighborhood. And as for the Planning Committee and the Business Association- shame on you both.

Developers ARE, for the most part, scumbags. None of them live in the neighborhoods they fuck up. Hell, most of them don't even live in the same state. California was ruined by non-Californians, who built, drove up the cost, made money and left us holding the bag.
Regardless, MC5's "Back in the USA" is a GREAT fuckin' album.
