Where Have You Been?

Yes, that is the title of a Manchester Orchestra song and I love it and I'm excited for their new album. More about that later. In the meantime, I've been out every night this week which means no writing. The day job has me pretty busy. And why do I have to keep explaining to people that this website is not my day job? For real. I have a job in advertising and it kicks my ass every day, and I still go out because there is amazing stuff happening around town every day. What is your excuse?

Anyway, I have a gazillion pictures to work through, but here's one of The Wombats that I love, and I completely adored the band, not only for their incredible performance at the Casbah, but because they were total sweethearts after their show.

Tonight I found myself on a KPRI harbor cruise of the bay on the huge boat called The Inspiration to see The Old 97's. Not only was it a great show, but it was one of those nights to really appreciate what a beautiful city we live in.

This one is as we were taking off from the port.

And then later, as we headed toward Coronado.

And then sexy Rhett Miller conferring with Ken about their next song.

So no, I haven't been good about posting, but I certainly have a lot of catching up to do. It's been a good but hard week. Friday will kick my ass and then perhaps I can pull a hermit on Saturday to share it all with you. If you really miss my posts, follow me on Twitter. I'm way more accessible there. (@sddialedin)
