Things To Do In San Diego: May 5, 2011

I can hardly believe it's already Thursday! This week has been crazy. I did merch for Charles Bradley and the Menahen Street Band on Tuesday and the show was amazing despite my drama after the show with the TM. Yesterday was busy running around and then we had a North Park Festival of Arts meeting. From there I spent some time at Lost Ark Studios where Jesse LaMonaca and the Dime Novels are recording some tracks. Today I was up bright and early to be on These Days, wandered my neighborhood distributing festival posters and locking down behind the laptop working on some booking and blog posts until I get ready to head over to West Coast Tavern for some much needed Cinco de Mayo revelry. They've got $3 Espolon shots and $5 Espolon margaritas all night long and Otro Mundo is performing later tonight. Still, I'll have to take it somewhat easy because it looks like you're not gonna get your weekend listings until the morning. Whatever you do tonight, be safe and designate a driver, or just grab a cab so everyone can let loose.
