Things To Do In San Diego: May 2, 2011

It was a beautiful weekend in San Diego so I hope you enjoyed it. I had such a great time between the SPJ conference, ArtWalk, Mudhoney at the Casbah, Roots Fest & Healing Arts, and a lovely dinner at URBN North Park. I even got a second wind last night and made it through all of those email I'd been neglecting, so I'm ready for action this week. I don't know about you, but it's gonna be a busy one. I'm doing merch a lot this week along with my regular show attendance. I also get to on a really cool zoo tour tomorrow so I'm excited about that and you'll hear all about it. I booked a cool Latin jazz trio, Otro Mundo, for Cinco de Mayo at West Coast Tavern, so go check them out. Oh, and I'm going to be on the radio twice this week. On Thursday, I'll be helping out with the weekend preview during These Days on KPBS, and next Sunday, I'll be doing the Coup d'etat on FM 94/9 from 6-7pm. Jesse LaMonaca will be coming along and playing a song or two live, so set your cassette tapes ;)
