Things To Do In San Diego: September 11, 2011

The San Diego Music Thing was a blast yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came to visit my table at the trade show, for all of the people who came out to Soda Bar for my showcase, and especially to the amazing lineup who played their hearts out. From Jesse & James silencing the bar during "Wagon Wheel", to Brett Detar's AMAZING cover of Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative", to the crazy dancing guy who couldn't get enough of the Heavy Guilt, Strange Vine proving that less is more, and Inspired Flight bringing down the end of the night dance party, the night was absolutely awesome. I have spent the day enjoying my bed and catching up on much needed sleep before heading down to the Casbah for Givers and Kopecky Family Band. I'll be slinging merch, so come say hi. As a side note, I heard last night that tonight's show at Tin Can was canceled completely because the touring bands hit some snafu. Also, The Blackout Party are playing poolside at the Lafayette Hotel right now if you can make it over there. They started at 3pm.
