Things To Do In San Diego: September 22, 2011

Last night with Bright Eyes was so awesome but today I'm fighting a cold that I felt coming on earlier this week but ignored. I'm sure last night's tequila just helped it take over my body. Hopefully I can rest up and still be able to make it to the Hard Rock Hotel tonight for MaryJane's Underground with The Fling and The Short Eyes. If you were wondering about the blog tantrum I threw last week, it was because I found out West Coast Tavern was canceling their Thursday night live music because very few people ever bothered to show up. So yeah, I was pissed. When you're "dating the scene" as Tim Pyles likes to say, sometimes the scene will break your heart (and yank your income). Now I'm sick and I don't know when I'll get around to the weekend listings because my eyeballs feel like they might explode from looking at this screen. Maybe at some point.
