I found a blog linking to mine, specifically about the whole BoH bullshit that happened last year. I'm not gonna link back, but he called me an "arrogant myspacer" even though he linked to my site and not my MySpace.
He goes on to complain about people taking photos at shows and says,"Then again, I'm guilty of plenty of concert photography myself and, photo pass or not, the lines are thinly drawn between reporters, bloggers and (assuming they exist anymore) actual fans"..."but I'm also typically shooting for a blog with a thousand or so readers with a relatively impressive camera."
Is he for real? We're all doing the same thing, Stupid.

I saw you at indy jam, and you look like you aren't having any fun. Like you just go to concerts to do your "job". Start enjoying the sets, and artists, don't worry so much about everything else, because quite frankly nothing else matters but the music being performed. That whole boycotting a certain venue because of a certain reason is dumb, AGAIN because when you are a "fan" you don't care about the venue, just the MUSIC. Thank you, goodbye.
"Relatively impressive camera." Vomit. Talk about arrogance.
This is not my job and I had an amazing day at Indy Jam. You enjoy shows your way and I'll enjoy them mine.
Rosemary~ you should do your thing and not worry about stupid people taking shots at you. I know nothing about the local music scene and your blog keeps me up to date. Frankly, I am not a big fan of the "music" but rather the back story to the music and venues.
I also saw you at Indy Jam and you looked like you were having fun to me . . . And you know I saw you because I use my actual name instead of hiding behind internet anonymity. Imagine that.
what's funny is i happened upon that post this morning (it was one of the blogs i occassionally check) and was shocked.
you are an asset to this music community and i can't believe what you go through to continue to provide coverage and support it. so thank you for all that you do.
That guy's a douche who doesn't know you. You rock and are one of the most poolite picture takers to frequent shows. I've sat behind people who rip-out their cell and text in the middle of a show, I wanted to punch them, snapping a pic, big friggin deal. And, the hob does suck, all those obstructed views, if I didn't want to SEE the band I would be at home listening to the record, and I've 'heard' some pretty junky sound coming from some pretty amazing performers at that place before too. Also, the door people have asked! for bribes!! to sold-out shows.
I think you are one of the few people that goes to more shows then I do. We wouldn't go out every night if we weren't having fun or didn't love the music.
