I'm still in Vegas and I'm on a campaign to get free universal wi-fi to the world because internet cafes freakin suck. I can't believe these stupid hotels don't provide it in every room.
Anyway, while I was gone, there was a Street Scene pre-linuep announcement presale, so hopefully you were hip to it when tickets were only $65 for a two-day pass. The lineup has been announced, so now two-day passes will cost you $75 plus some fees, but at least they went with FrontGate for ticketing and not ticketbastard. Two-day passes are limited, so get them now or whine later. Anyway, here's the lineup:
Beck, The Black Crowes, The National, Spoon, Justice, TV On The Radio, Atmosphere, Sound Tribe Sector 9,Cat Power, Tegan and Sara, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Hot Chip, The New Pornographers, X, Vampire Weekend, The Hives, Cold War Kids, Ghostland Observatory, Eagles of Death Metal, Spiritualized, Antibalas, The Mother Hips, Man Man, Tokyo Police Club, Devotchka, The Night Marchers, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, MGMT, Del The Funky Homosapien, Foals, Nortec Collective, The Muslims, Dengue Fever, Sea Wolf, West Indian Girl, Chester French
I'm pretty stoked on this lineup. For information and tickets, go here.
