91X Nightmare Before X-Mas is suddenly "sold out", too, but they are giving away a shitload of tickets, so I don't know that they get full credit for selling out.

is there any doubt that the radio stations, um, bend the truth, when it comes to those "sold out" concerts. as a lawyer, i can appreciate the fact that if they sell fewer tickets to an event, technically, it will sell out earlier.
Bend the truth? I suppose so. If we bought out the sports arena and sold 10 tickets and left 9990 for promotional purposes, sure it would be a "Sell Out" in the most meager sense.
Throwing a concert is about selling tickets, not impressing people.
