I'm guessing everyone is probably tired of my ranting about the bullshit Kensington Terrace project that is gonna make my life in Kensington hell for an indefinite amount of time, but I just wanted to say that I'm putting my money where my mouth is, so to speak, and will be attending the Kensington Planning Committee meeting tonight at the church on Marlborough. If you are a resident of Kensington and are interested in attending, you can download an application at 411kensington.com
Meetings are the second Wednesday of every month, and I heard tonight there are elections, and people against the development are putting up candidates to get rid of the assholes that got us in this mess in the first place.
In other Kensington news, last night's little meet up at the Ken was fun, though I got more "I can't make it tonight, but you should do it every month" messages than actual attendees, but I got to see some neighborhood friends and have some tasty bevvies, so I'm not complaining. And, no offense to DJs, but it was nice to have a whole night of good tunes on the jukebox. Brett made a great move by adding Drag The River and Lucero amongst other new discs in there.n
Last, anyone know where I can print a door sized "Stop Kensington Terrace" sign on the cheap?

heven and hell do not exist. If you think Kensington is hell then make it so by calling people who have been involved in the community
planning "assholes" --your word.
Nice-- very neighborly. You are creating your own hell!
Welcome home.
