Tonight, from 7 to 10 p.m., the curatorial art punks behind Adapta Project will be kicking it at Modus (corner of Fourth and Ivy) for an informal informational event. Basically, they'll be there to wipe away all our concerns about going to their upcoming group art show in Tijuana, A Room of One's Own @ Terra Sur, which opens from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 19.
Adapta Project says they're sick of people saying Tijuana is too dangerous and they're pretty darn sure that once you check out the artist lineup, you won't be able to resist coming to the show. I mean, for heaven's sake, they've even paid big bucks for a shuttle, leaving from the Old Town Transit Center at 8 p.m., which'll take you right to the front door of the oceanfront home where it's being held!
Head down to Modus tonight for more information.
