Mini-review of the Dandies gig at the Belly Up:

We missed the first band.

The second band, A Place to Bury Strangers, was better than most hipster bands, but didn't stand out.

The Dandies were dreary for the first 30 minutes, then cranked it up for most of the last 90. They played most of their famous tunes - the exceptions being "Mission Control" and the song used as the theme for "Undeclared."

I'm not a fan of any of the three bands, so I can't give a detailed review, but having no allegiance makes me more objective than most. Given that, I'd say it was a good gig overall, but I wasn't blown away as I was with CSS in LA last week.
