I'm sitting at the corner of 12th and Salina, an off the path neighborhood in Austin, Texas, waiting for the promise of an afterparty. Supposedly it's an all you can drink affair, and our "hook-up" finally showed up in time to let Matt in. In the meantime, I met some locals to the 'hood who, in their dropped towncar with tinted windows and bass thumping, warned me to be careful. At this moment, gates opened and more people appear to be leaving than staying. All a part of my Austin experience. All I know is I'm not paying $10 to get in to this "cray-cray" party.
