I'm trying not to be overwhelmed with planning (and budgeting) for SXSW, and then I look at this week in music and it's CRAZY. Thursday night looks like it is SXSW in San Diego.
Yes, I said FULL WEEK. That means through Sunday! You might not know it, but behind the scenes, my friend Jeff has been doing my Monday through Thursday listings for a long time now, not to mention driving my ass all over town to hit all the shows I want to see, and he doesn't get enough credit or thanks. When I planned on heading to Texas, I asked if he would be willing to do the full week listings for the next two weeks and not only did he say yes, but he had these all to me last week...which means if you have a new event or show that's not on here, you'll have to leave a comment so I can integrate it into the listings. I know you'll like these better and then you'll whine to me when I go back to breaking up the week, but I'm pretty much working around the clock to keep this site afloat and not become homeless, so I'll keep doing what I can when I can.
