SXSW: Everyday Should Start With A Poltz

After hoofing it a few miles (nobody told me about WEST 6th...) I arrived at Annie's West to catch Steve Poltz. I only caught "Silver Lining" and "The Ballad of Tommy and Marla", but as always, his crowd loved him. Incidentally, Chris Cantore asked my highlights so far, and thinking about it, the highlight is walking down a street in a town that isn't home, and seeing so many familiar faces. Today I ran into Mike, CHAPPO's manager, then Fake Problems, and I didn't realize Ray's band was playing after Steve. Good times. It's exhausting and I might sleep for a week, but so far it's been nothing short of amazing.
