San Diego Fires: Project Wildlife Accepting Animals

I used to be a phone liaison for Project Wildlife so this one is close to my heart. The way the organization works is that they train volunteers to care for orphaned and injured wildlife in their homes. Unfortunately, many of those volunteers have been evacuated from their homes. Word is that if you have Project Wildlife animals at your home, you can take them back to the care center if you find yourself evacuated. Get your ducks, possums, raccoons and others back to the facility.

The center is at 887 1/2 Sherman Street, off Morena Blvd.
