San Diego Fires: Spring Valley Update
Spring Valley is in an unusual situation. The fire in San Miguel is creeping over the mountain and approaching Steele Canyon High School, which has been used as a shelter. The plan is to keep it a "shelter in place" by creating a safe area around the school. So far, it appears that the fire is burning off brush and the air support is making sure structures stay in tact. From the information coming in, structures are not in immediate danger.
