Things To Do In San Diego: August 16-17, 2011

A while back, my friend Mike and I had a discussion about blogging. Is it to promote and preview shows before they happen or is it to review them after or is it just to brag to people about all the cool stuff you do? I'm not really sure since this all really started as a diary anyway, but I will say that those of us at the Casbah last night got a pretty special show with Califone. They're an amazing band and the room was maybe half full (if that), but they're just one of those bands I'll always go see whenever the opportunity is there. Tonight I'm looking forward to seeing DCFC and Frightened Rabbit at RIMAC, and you know we'll be speeding down the freeway to get to 207 for the after show.
