Things To Do In San Diego: October 10, 2012

I'm starting to feel like Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week. I mean, Thursdays are usually awesome nights and are generally my kickoff to whatever greatness the weekend has in store, but Wednesday means I get a jump on the day, we have our Casbah pow-wow about upcoming shows, I usually get an awesome lunch somewhere with Mr. Pyles, and since I've been up all night on Monday and Tuesday to sort through email and catch up on work, I have a completely open afternoon to explore the city, while keeping email and such to a minimum via my Blackberry. I will be posting photos and video from The Head and The Heart & Blitzen Trapper, Peter Gabriel, and Divine Fits in the next few days, but mostly I'll be enjoying this amazing city and catching as many shows and events as possible. I'm also happy to say that whatever stupid thing happened to my leg on Sunday while playing tennis was obviously no big deal because I only needed crutches for a day and now I'm slightly hobbling but can get back to my normal business, even if that means walking a bit slower with shorter strides. I'm going to go ahead and post listings through next Thursday, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Jeff, Jordan, and Chase, though I know I haven't really needled through Facebook and Ticketmaster and street fairs and other one-off shows. I will add those as necessary, but if you have something to send to make my life easier, please feel free to leave a comment or reach me via Twitter, Facebook, or email.
