Landlord Jim's Closing in 2008
It has been known for some time that Landlord Jim's would be closing. Supposedly the plans are to completely knock the block down to create a parking structure for City College. I don't know if that is still the plan, but Landlord Jim's has announced that their eviction notice has been served. The bar's last day will be January 6, 2008. Head down and show your love to a bar that showed you could be downtown and not have to pay $10 for a cocktail. Or go for the tall boy cans in the brown bag. Enjoy it before it's gone.

Can't say I'll miss it. I think I've been there four or five times and always remember why it is I'm not there more often.
