San Diego Police Department Northern Division detectives are asking for assistance from the public in identifying a suspect in a shooting that happened in the early morning hours of Monday, September 17, 2007.The suspect was identified as 24 year old David Park.
At about 2 a.m. the male victim was walking south on Mission Boulevard when he and his companions saw a fight in front of Ramiro's Taco shop, located at 4525 Mission Boulevard. Some members of the victim's group helped break up the fight. The victim and his companions continued walking east on Garnet Avenue where they were confronted by the suspect in the 900 block of Garnet. The suspect yelled, "Who pushed me?" pointed a gun at the victim and fired three shots. The suspect fled on foot going west on Garnet Avenue.
