Things To Do In San Diego: June 9, 2011

What a week. My computer got some gnarly virus, I posted a picture of it on Twitter, and within minutes Todd came to my rescue and was able to get rid of it and restore everything as if nothing happened. Everyone needs a Todd in their life. Because of the computer crisis, I was gonna stay in until Levi from Brothers Young called and asked if I was coming to their show. Not wanting to blow money on a cab, I walked the 2 miles to Bar Pink and since I'd offered up my place for the band, we were out pretty late. Little did I know I was actually hosting Hurtbird and Brothers Young, so we had 4 people on the floor, one on the couch, two in the van, and one sleeping in the luggage carrier on the roof of the van. Apparently their whole tour has mostly been spent sleeping outside in parks and such, so it was nice to see everyone actually rest and get to sleep in. They're off to Santa Barbara now and I'll be spending the day catching up on all of the things I neglected because of said virus, including the weekend listings.
