San Diego Bands Join Forces for Charity

This year marks the 7th Annual Bro-Am charity event, put on by San Diego's, GRAMMY award winning, Switchfoot. The event is a surf competition, and music festival, held on Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. The proceeds benefit the San Diego chapter of Stand Up For Kids; a charity organization that focuses on helping homeless kids.

This year's lineup is built around a core of San Diego bands that all share various levels of connection. From "Jon Foreman and Friends", The Silent Comedy, and The Howls on the beach, to Little Hurricane and Fiction Family at the Belly Up after party, this lineup features combinations of bands that have shared bills together in the past.

The free beach front show starts at 12 noon on Saturday, June 18th with the after party that evening at Belly Up. Stand Up For Kids volunteers will be available to take donations at both events.
