Culture Club's "Colour By Numbers" was the first vinyl I ever bought with my own money. I think I was about 7 and my sister and I paid $5.99 at Target for the 12", and I thought, "wow, he is so pretty!" I still have that record and I still think "Victims" is an amazing song. My mom is awesome for enduring "Karma Chameleon" about 7 bazillion times.

my first was menudo, but culture club was the second. i played these records so much. I too am grateful to my mother for not throwing them out. I still have them. im tempted to go!
Isn't he "Old Man George" now? I saw the Culture Club at the OAT in '85 or so. I'm not a huge fan of their music, but they put on a pretty good show that night. Jocelyn Brown ("Somebody Else's Guy") was a backup singer.
