Things To Do In San Diego: February 14, 2011

Happy Valentine's Day! Sorry these are coming to you so late but I had a magical Sunday, which means a really tired and slow Monday. It started with hanging out with my family in Chula Vista and PB, then I caught Drag The River & Steve Soto at the Casbah for a matinee show (Davey, you're awesome, by the way), then on to see The Decemberists and Mountain Man at the House of Blues, where I magically got a photo pass, jump the line, and even scored some free drinks, and met a very sweet boy who kept me entertained throughout the show(still not really sure how all that happened, actually). From House of Blues I went up to Soda Bar where it was a super fun dance party, played some pool, and then got ditched by my ride and walked home through City Heights at 2 in the morning, which to be honest, only sucked because my iPod is busted (anyone have a spare?). As my friend said in an email, "I will be out...trying not to rip cupid's little fucking wings off his stupid little back." Ha! On to a full week of awesome shows...
