Happy Tuesday

Reasons to refrain from crying ab0ut having to go back to work:

1. Indie 103 played the new Arcade Fire single, "Intervention" and then shortly thereafter played Thom Yorke's Neil Young cover of "After the Gold Rush". This is why I stream LA radio.

2. Lots of blog reading to catch up on. Cat Dirt! Chickrawker! Dooce! Smoke And Ashes! Postsecret! Stereogum!

3. I bought some Rafter CDs the other night that I haven't had the chance to open yet. I got '10 songs' and 'Music For Total Chickens', and also got an Asthmatic Kitty sampler (22 songs!) and a side project thing(?) called Wack Ass Bitch 'Death Style'.

All this definitely compensates for the fact that I kept waking up having dreams about Perez Hilton fighting Paris Hilton to a soundtrack of Lady Sovereign's 'Love Me or Hate Me'. Which reminds me...I haven't touched TMZ in a couple weeks, either.
