Free Christmas Trees!

I don't know how many trees are still available, or if they'll be getting another load on Sunday, but if you want a FREE Christmas tree, head to Qualcomm Stadium for the Giant Used Car Sale. You don't even have to pretend you're in the market for a car, you can just walk in and get a voucher. I actually looked around a bit to gauge what kind of deals were out there because as my 1994 Mazda approaches 200,000 miles, I'll probably be in the market for a new/used vehicle in 2008, but you can just go in, an escort will show you around, and if all you want is a tree, you fill out a form with just your name (no other personal info was collected) and you can pick up your tree about 30 minutes later. I chose a Noble Fir, but they have Douglas Firs, too.

Looks like tonight will be a long night of writing and decorating. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love this time of year.
