Looking Back While Looking Ahead

My office closed at 1 pm today and I'm chilling out, watching Oprah, and ready to take a much needed nap. I don't go back to work until January 2nd, so I'll have plenty of time to catch up with the past week- The Melvins, Film School, Aux Eutres, Red Pony Clock, Fishboy, The Holiday Hootenanny, CLA, Diablo Dimes, The Local Christmas CD release, Reeve Oliver, and all the stuff in between- but there's also plenty of stuff to look forward to. Here are some things that I'm excited about:

• Hotel St George, The Roman Spring, and Republic of Letters tonight at the Tower Bar
• House party tomorrow night (If you love vision, come check out Paddle Boat
• The 94/9 Holiday Hoedown on Sunday night at the Casbah
• The Charges vs The Broncos on Christmas Eve, followed by Exile on Kettner at the Casbah afterward
• Christmas with my beautiful niece Johanna and spending some QT with my family
