Warped Tour Death?
Joe Escalante of the Vandals and morning dj on LA's Indie 103.1 said that someone died in the mosh pit at the Warped Tour yesterday during the Circle Jerks performance at the Shoreline Amphitheater in San Francisco. I've yet to find any media reports on the incident, but as we know from the incidents at Street Scene last year during Tool, these sorts of things get hushed. Anyone know whatever happened to that guy who was in critical condition?

Wasn't a mosher, but I saw someone getting taken away from the Tool show at Cox Arena in very, very bade shape.
Yeah, I was standing by the medical tent so I saw a lot of people in bad shape (and lots of stupid people with flip-flop related injuries), but there was one particular guy with brain injuries in a coma after the event, but nothing was ever really reported afterward. I also saw a guy get his skull cracked at OzzFest a few years ago and never really heard anything about that either. Music's dirty secret?
The news and radio here in KC say it was a heat related death and not pit related. The temp was well over 101 in most places as high as 108 in others. With the heat indexes 118 or more. They has sprinklers set up and more medical tents around, but they still charged $4 for water. My prayers are with the family.
